One thing I did forget to mention as part of essential eight (accessories) are bags! The two featured in my outfits are both Kate Spade I got at the outlet; I remember my satchel was on sale for 40% with an addition 15% off. I think a colorful bag is such a fun way to add a pop to a neutral look.

Maroon is my one of my favorite color so that was the logic behind my clutch purchase. It holds a lot more than you'd think for being so little! It's my everyday running errands grab-and-go bag and saves me for nights out. Because of the card holder slots it doubles as my wallet too.  (Shopping tip: bring your student ID if you're shopping at Kate Spade for an extra discount.)

Definitely don't be afraid to experiment with colors and patterns with your bags! It can add some interest. I'm currently on the hunt for a sparkly clutch for New Year's Eve!

'Til next time.
