If you haven't made your way over to Casa Azul on Genesee Street yet, next week is the perfect time to do it. Join me, Rachel Good, Steve Ambrose, Amy Brooks & Brian Cleary of Buffalo Dinner Club on Tuesday, Oct. 10 for a night of food and fun as we help a worthy cause.
Casa Azul is a new restaurant participating in Dining Out for Life 2017. With their unique menu, you're bound to fall in love! One of my favorite dishes are the Chilaquiles. If you're a nacho enthusiast and like a little kick to your food, these will quickly become your favorite too! They're like nothing I've had before.
The restaurant is no stranger to supporting causes they believe in. On Sept. 23, they donated 50% of the day's food sales to relief efforts in Mexico after the devastating earthquake.
Over 75 of local restaurants are participating in Dining Out for Life.
This annual fundraising event that raises money for AIDS service organizations around the nation. In Western New York, participating restaurants will be donating 25% of the entire day's sales will be donated to Evergreen Health.
Evergreen Health has been on the front line, fighting HIV/AIDS while providing services to those living with the disease since 1983. They provide medical, supportive and behavioral services to local individuals and families challenged by chronic or life-threatening diseases.
